The economic stories... never end

Tomorrow I will have interesting topic at CA. Talking about the solution. Talking about what to do in this economic scenario. I love this topic. I love making money and even love to spend. Well, money in your bank account is not yours until you use it. It might be for someone else.

Anyway, tomorrow is continuation of last week's topic. We are facing the economis woes, so, what next? In any problem we are facing, there must be solution. My presention, as always, will be very simple. In any situation, there are people who make money, who prosper and who have good life, so, why not us? Why not youand me?

A friend told me just last night, his focus is no longer about money, but how to help people. Not interested to make more money, enought from what he has now. Duit tak boleh bawak mati. A "friendly" smile for him. I listen this long ago, and still listen to this statement until now. It's either he is avoiding to the reality, lazy or don't know what he's talking about. It is not really money that matter, but what's next? What on earth that we don't really need money?

I told him to look around, what happen to "our people" in our own land? What happen to our "brothers and sisters" around the world (since he talk about race and religion)? What happen to so many graduates that left unemployed? What happen to families whose sole bread winner now out of job? And so much more to list down.

I understand he is more to charity job, but what actually he's doing? Looking around for contribution from others, from corporate, from individual. Then, what is that? Don't involve money? If money is not important, why looking for contribution? Ask for material thing, then, it not involve money? What a sickening excuses for being LAZY and avoiding!!

And he told me, he spend time with those people, being with them, love them, and care about them. Yea, a nobel thing to do. God bless you. When people are hungry, they need food. Of course people need love and care. But they also need food, cloths, shelters etc etc. All those thing need money. Imagine if he has lot of money, how much more he can contribute? He don't need to use all those money for himself. Use it for the charity. I told him, I'm also do what he is doing, but it never stop me from making more money and looking for more opportunity.

Then, I ask him what his plan for his life. What's next for him. Too bad, he had nothing to share because he never think that far. Hmm... such a nobel person, but had never plan for what he should do next. I'm not as good as him. I only think about myself, so selfish (as what he describe me, ha ha ha... yea, I'm agree with you man...), but at least, I know what I'm doing and where I'm heading to. I never stop making mistakes but I never stop learn from it and move on from there too.

Back to money and economic scenario stories, I told him, now is time to save, invest and create assets. His first reaction was, he don't have enough or big cash for it. See, how people so ignorant about cashflow and assets game nowdays. I don't ask him to buy assets, but to create assets.

So, I go on explaining to him about assets and liabilities, about invest, convert expense to investment, what is expenses and what is investment, about what type of cash outflow and inflow, what type of assets and so on. It's a good run up for my presentation tomorrow. So much idea coming from that "cool exchage of ideas", Alhamdulillah.

End of the day, I told him, he don't need to do like what I'm doing. This is just one of the thing we can do in this world. There are many more that we can do. I suggest him few thing, since he is not interested about making more money (I don't know where he learn we don't need to be rich and make more money). And I leave it to him. His life, his choice. He want to create something for this world, and he want to leave something. He do what he love to do, I continue with my life.

End of the conversation, I told him, life never stop here. I might not have much money now, just enough to survive, but I enjoy every moment of my life. I have great people around me, have great job and career, have great thing to do. I enjoy talking to people, enjoy seeing people moving up in their life and enjoy every sen of money that I have. More important, I'm not see people to ask for contribution, but to contribute, in anyway I can. I learn from anyone possible and I share with anyone who want to listen. People understand or not, totally not my problem. How could I make people understand? I can only share and improve my sharing.

I learn a lot from him, and I don't know what he learn from me. Not my problem anyway, ha ha ha.... He ask for some contribution and I ask him, the love that you give not enough? So, sacarstic I think. Well, hope he realize, that making money will not make us an evil. Nothing wrong with money. Just that, how we make it and how we spend it, that's what count.

Good luck to you, my friend. :-)
